1 Peter 1:5-7 (Complete Jewish Bible)
5 Meanwhile, through trusting, you are being protected by God’s power for a deliverance ready to be revealed at the Last Time.
6 Rejoice in this, even though for a little while you may have to experience grief in various trials.
7 Even gold is tested for genuineness by fire. The purpose of these trials is so that your trust’s genuineness, which is far more valuable than perishable gold, will be judged worthy of praise, glory and honor at the revealing of Yeshua the Messiah.
Life isn’t easy. It wasn’t meant to be. This is a blessing because through our trials we are given an opportunity to be differentiated in our faith. We trust in our Elohim, via our trust we are given a protection. But, that doesn’t mean that we are protected from trials as Peter so clearly states. These trials are essential in our human journey in order to be counted worthy. Was Abraham lesser than us? Was he spared such trials?
This should not dishearten us, but rather encourage us to know that through such things we will be glorified IF we chose to obey, trust and have faith in our Father, and our Messiah who will deliver us at His coming.
